- The Finkelperel Institute for Israeli and Jewish Studies invests in and supports children and young people from socioeconomically challenged areas of Ulaanbaatar such as from the Гэр хороолол (Ger District) through the Eden Academy

- many children must navigate through life without a father thus they are in need of mature and positive role models and yes even parents .
- each child has a story of circumstances often involving a dealing with issues such as conditions of existence that are very basic or survival level, abuse, alcoholism and other hurts and pains.
- a child’s instincts will tell them the world is far from perfect.
- a child can handle the imperfect.
- yet, what each child needs is to know that there is at least one person, an adult, who loves them, whom they can come to, sit with and safely confide in.
