Our Story

• Early envisioning and philosophical foundations for the Finkelperel Institute for Israeli and Jewish Studies began through discussions among scholars in Kyiv (2000) and Jerusalem (2002). Early Russian-Jewish merchant enterprise and infrastructure development in Buryatia and Mongolia geographies are also contributing elements leading to the founding of the present institute in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
